Majority of Americans show support for Trump's travel ban - Poll

Despite the criticism, outrage and protests surrounding Donald Trump's executive order banning refugees and immigrants from seven-Muslim majority countries from entering the US, more than half of Americans still support the move.

According to a new poll carried out by Quinnipiac University which was released last week, it showed that 48 per cent of Americans are in support of the new policy as against 42 per cent who are against it.
 
Majority also suggested that a Muslim registry be created for refugees who are allowed into the country.
