''I feel the process of my goodbye has already started” - Pep Guardiola

Manchester  City manager, Pep Guardiola has shocked the football world by revealing that he was approaching the end of his career despite being only 45 years of age.

The Catalan told NBC in a taped interview before his side game with Burnley on Monday evening at the EtiHad that he does not see himself managing into his 60s. 

Pep hinted that Manchester city might be his last coaching job.

“I will be at Manchester for the next three seasons, maybe more, but I am arriving at the end of my coaching career, of this I am sure.

“I will not be on the bench until I am 60 or 65 years old. I feel the process of my goodbye has already started.”

When asked about his earlier comments, after the game, he said:

“It might be one of my last teams – because I decide so.” 

The former Barcelona and Bayern Munich manager has won 22 trophies in a successful career since starting out at Barcelona team B in 2007.
