Cyprus Talks: Boths leaders exchange maps

Leaders of the divided Cyprus island, Greek Cypriot president Nicos Anastasiades and Turkish Cypriot leader Mustafa Akinci on Wednesday exchanged maps outlining their proposals for territorial boundaries. 

The two leaders presented their maps which were then submitted and sealed in a United Nations vault as details about the maps were not disclosed.

According to United Nations mediator for Cyprus, Espen Barth Eide, he said the talks, aimed at creating a bizonal state with shared central administration, were "on track".

The the guarantors powers including Greece, Turkey and Britain, are scheduled to meet in Geneva on Thursday to discuss security parameters of any deal.
