Cyprus set to experience it's coldest days of the winter period

Cyprus is set to experience the coldest days of winter period in the next few days as the weather forecast for Friday and the coming week dropped to as low as 1 degrees with some parts of the island having heavy snow fall accompanied with strong winds and rain.
 
Temperatures are expected to reach 9C inland, 10 in coastal areas, and -3 on the mountains, on Saturday and Sunday, which may also see frost.

And by Monday, the temperature is expected to rise by four, five degrees but may still be below the usual two or three degrees below normal.

We advice all residents and students to always go out with a proper winter jacket and avoid staying out for too long.

Also avoid unnecessary movement and be very careful when driving.
