Brits sign petition to ban Donald Trump from visiting the UK

Thousands of Brits have signed an online petition on a British government website calling for the ban of US President Donald Trump from visiting the UK.

The petition titled "Prevent Donald Trump from making a State Visit to the United Kingdom," was launched on Sunday morning by Graham Guest and with a few hours, it hit its target with over 500,000 signatures already and could be set to reach 1 million before the end of Sunday report the Metro.

According to the rule, a Petitions that reaches a landmark figure of more than 100,000 signatures must be considered for debate in parliament.

The petition reads that;

"Donald Trump's well documented misogyny and vulgarity disqualifies him from being received by Her Majesty the Queen or the Prince of Wales." See petition here

British Prime Minister Theresa May who visited Trump in Washington on Friday, conveyed an invitation from Queen Elizabeth II to Trump for a state visit to Britain later this year.
