Arsene Wenger handed a four-match touchline ban by FA

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has been handed a four-match touchline ban by the English FA after he admitted a charge of misconduct.

Wenger was charged by the FA on Monday for pushing a fourth official Anthony Taylor and also for using insulting language toward the officials after he was sent to the stands for protesting a penalty decision during the match with Burnley at the Emirate stadium which Arsenal later won with a late spot kick.

Wenger who will sit out the next four games including the tie with Chelsea next week was also fined £25,000 for his actions.
"It was alleged that in or around the 92nd minute, he used abusive and/or insulting words towards the fourth official," an FA statement said.
"It was further alleged that following his dismissal from the technical area, his behaviour in remaining in the tunnel area and making physical contact with the fourth official amounted to improper conduct."
Wenger who accepted the charge has apologised for his actions .
