Nigerian student dies in Cyprus. (Updated)

The Nigerian Students community in Cyprus has been thrown into mourning following the death of Mr. Samuel Eze who died on Monday 9th January.

Until his death he was a student of Girne America University, (GAU) Cyprus.

The Nigerian Student Union, Girne American University chapter confirmed through their Facebook page that he died as a result of burns sustained during a fire out break on New Years Eve, Saturday December 31st, 2016. He was rushed to the hospital after the incident where he fought for his life for over 10 days before finally giving up.
