Real Madrid wins FIFA Club World Cup

Real Madrid football club on Sunday won the FIFA Club World Cup for the second time in Japan after coming from a one goal deficit at 2-1 to defeat a well organized and dangerous Japanese side, Kashima Antlers.

Real striker Karim Benzema opened the scoring in the ninth minute, but Kashima hit back to take the lead with goals on either side of half time through Gaku Shibasaki.

Again Real needed Cristiano Ronaldo's heroic to turn things around for them and the Portuguese truly delivered when he scored a hat trick, with his first goal taking the game into extra time and two more goals coming subsequently, to seal victory.
