Mr Eazi wins 'Next Rated Act' award at the 2016 Headies

Mr Eazi has emerged winner of the 'Next Rated Artiste' at the Headies 2016 award, held on Thursday December, 22, 2016, beating the likes of Ycee, Aramide, and Humblesmith to clinch the most sort after award that came with a brand new Hyundai Santa Fe SUV. 

Recall that Tekno who was initially nominated for the award category was disqualified for not honouring the category and support the campaign.

Meanwhile, the biggest winner of the night, was Kiss Daniel with three wins: Best R&B/Pop Album, Hip Hop World Revelation and Album of the Year for New Era.

Darey, Olamide, Illbliss and Simi follow with two awards each.
