Donald Trump dismisses reports Russia helped him win election

US President-elect Donald Trump on Sunday rejected reports by US intelligence findings as "ridiculous," which concluded that Russia intervened in the presidential election on his behalf through targeted hacking, saying he did not believe it, according to an interview broadcast on "Fox News Sunday."

Trump criticized the intelligence reports which findings pits him against some leading foreign policy voices in the U.S. Senate from his own Republican party who on Sunday expressed alarm about US election interference by Russia.

"I think it's ridiculous. I think it's just another excuse. I don't believe it," Trump said.

Trump blamed Democrats for putting out the media reports and said he did not believe they came from the Central Intelligence Agency.
