Crystal Palace appoints former England manager, Sam Allardyce as it's new manager
Premier League club side, Crystal Palace on Friday appointed former England manager, Sam Allardyce as it's new manager on a two-and-a-half-year deal after the sacking of Alan Pardew, announced the club.
Allardyce, was sacked as England manager just after 67 days on the job after he was caught in an undercover sting discussing FA rules on third-party ownership on players.
Pardew left the club 17th in the league table, just one point above the relegation zone, after managing just one win in his last 11 Premier League games.
Allardyce who will oversee his first training session on Saturday, will take charge of the club with immediate effect, and will be on the dugout for the club's Boxing Day math with Watford.
