Chelsea announce the transfer of Brazilain midfielder Oscar to Shanghai SIPG for £60 million
Chinese football side, Shanghai SIPG has agreed the transfer of Chelsea midfielder, Oscar to the club in January, 2017, the Premier League side announced on Friday.
The deal will see the 25-year-old Brazilian leave Stamford Bridge for a club record fee of about £60 million according to ESPN FC, surpassing the £50m fee Paris Saint-Germain paid for David Luiz in the summer of 2014 and will be the fourth-largest ever paid transfer fee to a Premier League club.
Chelsea in a statement on their official website said:
