Car bomb attack hits bus carrying soldiers in Turkey

Turkey has been hit by a deadly terror attack after a car bomb blast killed at least 13 Turkish soldiers and injured several others in Kayseri province on Saturday.

According to reports by News.com.au, the attack was targeted at off-duty security personal who were on a weekend shopping trip.

In a report by a Turkish private news agency, Dogan, it said the governor of Kayseri province, Suleyman Kamci, had described the incident as a “terrorist attack”.

Meanwhile, Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan in a statement said “separatist terrorist organisation,” the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) is responsible for the bomb attack, adding that the attack were not independent of developments in Iraq and Syria.
