Boko Haram leader Abubakar Shekau urges fighters to kill and abduct

Islamist terrorist group, Boko Haram leader Abubakar Shekau in a new video posted on YouTube on Thursday December 29, has called on his fighters to "kill, slaughter, abduct and detonate bombs everywhere."

The message comes less than a week after the president of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari declared that the Nigerian military had driven Boko Haram from its last forest enclave in the northeast of the country, where he also said that "the terrorists are on the run, and no longer have a place to hide."

 Shekau in the video said;

"I am here, well and alive" and that "the battle is just beginning."

Shekau also reiterated that the sect's mission is to establish an Islamic caliphate in Nigeria.

"Kill all the infidels and detonate bombs everywhere," Shekau said

"Yes! I want you to kill, slaughter and abduct."
