Threat letters sent to several US mosques threatening genocide against Muslims

At least three mosques in California were sent letters this week that threatens Muslims warning them to leave the country and praised the US president-elect Donald Trump leading to calls by local Islamic leaders seeking for increased police protection in mosques. 

The Council on American-Islamic Relations CAIR's greater Los Angeles in a statement, said; the letters were sent to the Islamic Center of Long Beach and the Islamic Center of Claremont.
According to CAIR’s San Francisco Bay Area chapter, the same letter was also sent to the Evergreen Islamic Center in San Jose.

The handwritten letter, was addressed to “the children of Satan” and called Muslims a “vile and filthy people.”

Photocopies of a handwritten letter letter warning that Trump would “cleanse” Muslims from the US the same way “Hitler did to the Jews” reads;

“Your day of reckoning has arrived,”  “There’s a new sheriff in town. He’s going to cleanse America and make it shine again. And, he’s going to start with you Muslims.” 

“He’s going to do to you Muslims what Hitler did to the Jews.” 

“You Muslims would be wise to pack your bags and get out of Dodge.”

The letter is signed “Americans for a Better Way.”

The letter which have sparked new fears among Muslims, has been condemned by the US Law enforcement officials.
