Thousands in US cities to protest Trump’s presidency
America still look divided over Donald Trump's unexpected election as the next US president on Wednesday. Since his victory over Hillary Clinton, there have been several protests accross the US rejecting Trump's emergence.
Demonstrators are expected to gather again on Saturday in cities across the US to protest against Trump and his policies, which they say will hurt their civil and human rights.
Organizers of the events planned in New York, Los Angeles and Chicago, said they hoped to continue the momentum they have gained over several nights across the nation since Trump's surprise victory on Tuesday.
New York organisers in a Facebook event post announcing a rally and march that were to begin at noon local time at Union Square said;
Protesters have continued to decried Trump's campaign promises to restrict immigration and register Muslims, as well as allegations that he sexually abused women.

“We must unite despite our differences to stop HATE from ruling the land.”A protester was shot in Portland on Friday as he took part in a march across the Morrison Bridge, police said adding that the suspect remains at large.
Protesters have continued to decried Trump's campaign promises to restrict immigration and register Muslims, as well as allegations that he sexually abused women.
“It is our time as a movement to unite and fight back against Donald Trump and what he wants to do to this country,” organizers posted on Facebook announcing a rally in MacArthur Park in Los Angeles on Saturday.About 100,000 people on Facebook had signified interest early Saturday morning that they were planning to attend or were interested in the anti-Trump rallies in New York, Chicago and Los Angeles, where organisers also informed protesters that violence and vandalism will not be accepted.
