Donald Trump demands an apology from the Hamilton cast for confronting Vice president-elect Pence

US President-elect Donald Trump on Saturday demanded an apology from the cast of Hamilton who confronted Vice president-elect Mike Pence after he attended the Broadway show ''Hamilton'' at the Richard Rodgers theatre on Friday night. The former Indiana governor was booed by the audience and also addressed directly by the cast onstage after the performance.

After the performance, cast-member actor Brandon Victor Dixon addressed Pence, saying the Broadway hit’s multiracial and multicultural cast is concerned about the Trump administration.
"Our wonderful future V.P. Mike Pence was harassed last night at the theater by the cast of Hamilton, cameras blazing. This should not happen!," Trump tweeted on Saturday.
"The Theater must always be a safe and special place. The cast of Hamilton was very rude last night to a very good man, Mike Pence. Apologize!"

Pence was booed loudly by the audience as he found his seat in the theatre, while a few supporters clapped.
"There is nothing to boo here, ladies and gentleman... we are all here sharing a story of love," he said.
Then to Pence, he said:
"Vice President-elect Pence, welcome. Thank you for joining us at Hamilton: An American Musical. We are the diverse America who are alarmed and anxious that your new administration will not protect us, our planet, our children, our parents, or defend us and uphold our inalienable rights. We hope this show has inspired you to uphold our American values, and work on behalf of ALL of us."
Dixon responded to Trump's Tweet on Saturday morning saying,
"conversation is not harassment sir. And I appreciate @mike_pence for stopping to listen."
