Donald Trump blasts New York Times, says ''I am not trying to get ‘top level’ security clearance for my children''

US president-elect Donald Trump on Wednesday took to his Twitter account to denied claims that he is seeking to get “top level” security clearance for his children, saying that such reports suggesting otherwise are false.

“I am not trying to get ‘top level security clearance’ for my children. This was a typically false news story,” Trump tweeted.

In a series of tweets, Trump also blasted the New York Times magazine, saying they are angry that he won the election.

The New York billionaire's three children — Donald Jr., Eric, and Ivanka — and Jared Kushner, his son-in-law, are part of the presidential transition team.
