Woman to sell her virginity for $400,000 to help her family after devastating house fire

A 20-year-old Nevada woman Katherine Stone is auctioning her virginity for $400,000 to help her family following a devastating house fire.

Katherine originally from Seattle moved Nevada to work in a legal brothels after seeing an advertisement on Facebook.

Katherine who is advertising her virginity for $400,000 said she won't accept just any bid unless she feels a "connection" with the person.

Some people has reacted to Katherine's decision saying she should have sex for the first time out of 'love', which she claims as "exactly what she is doing".

Owner of the brothel, Hof said she could sell her virginity at his brothel as long as he gets a 50% cut but until then, she works at the brothel and offers non-intercourse services to raise money for her family who didn't have insurance when the fire destroyed their home.

Katherine plans to stay on working at the brothel for the next five years even after the sale of her virginity at the time she will then leave to study law.

"I'm waiting for a man who I feel a connection with so that the experience can be special for both of us.

"I have the right to choose what I do with my body. And in this troubling economy, do you blame me?"
