Wizkid, Alikiba fights at Mombasa concert in Kenya

Mombasa Rocks Music Festival held at Mombasa, Kenya over the weekend where Chris Brown was the lead art of the concert, was hit by controversy from two big African arts, Wizkid from Nigeria and Alikiba from Tanzania who were both locked in supremacy war over disagreements on who should perform first.

According to reports, the two of them were the remaining artist to perform before Chris Brown, as neither of them was willing to to perform before the other.

As for the arrangement put in place by organizers of the event, Wizkid was to perform last before Chris Brown takes the stage, an arrangement that didn't go well with Tanzania Alikiba who said Wizkid will perform before him because he was more popular in Kenya especially in Mombasa where his brand of Swahili music is popular.

Wizkid then decided not to perform at the event, which gave organizers a hard time trying to salvage the situation for more than two hours, before the Nigerian art then agreed to take the stage to perform.

Alikiba who won the battle of supremacy later took to the stage to perform after Wizkid, but saw his performance cut short following the disconnection of the microphone for star art Chris Brown.
