Police and students clash in South Africa, tear gas students

Students and police in South Africa on Wednesday clashed in the city of Cape Town during protest demanding free education in the country.
 
Police fired stun grenades, water canon and tear gas as they tried to disperse the protesting students outside parliament. 
The demonstration started after Finance Minister Pravin Gordhan delivered his medium term budget policy statement.

According to a report by AP news agency, students were seen burning a mock wooden coffin for the education minister showing to show their discontent over the government's response to their demands.

According to Al Jazeera's correspondent Haru Mutasa, who was reporting from Cape Town city center, said at least one student was wounded during the clash.

Protesters are demanding for free university tuition fees to help close South Africa's inequality gap.
