Obama trolls Trump on late night TV says- "I don't tweet at 3 am about people who insult me,"
US President Barack Obama during an interview on
on ABC's late-night show Jimmy Kimmel Live on Monday evening poked fun at the Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump for his prolific Twitter use to deal with issues.
Reading out a number of Trump's mean tweets reaching a particular one Trump said; "President Obama will do down as perhaps the worst president in the history of the United States!" which prompted Obama to say;
"At least I will go down as a president."Show host Kimmel then joked that president Obama had to "take time away from helping rig the election" to appear on the show, a troll at Trump, who has previously claimed the poll is rigged against him.
President Obama then used the joke to describe how comedian Bill Murray defeated him in a contest to putt golf balls into a glass in the White House office during a recent visit, a stunt the White House designed to promote Obamacare health insurance.
"He won repeatedly," said Obama. "The glass was rigged!"Kimmel also asked the president if he ever laugh when watching Trump on television.
"Most of the time," replied Obama.In another dig at Trump, President Obama who also said he has been called on a special phone by his bed "three or four times" in the middle of the night during his time as president of the US to deal with emergencies, but said he does not use his phone in the wee hours of the night
"I don't tweet at 3 am about people who insult me," Obama said.Obama who will be vacating office on January 20, when his second tenure as US presidents comes to an end said;
"If I were able to run for a third term, Michelle would divorce me," he said, noting his wife does not like politics.
