Kim Kardashian returns from Paris, reunites with husband Kanye West in New York as she is surrounded by security following a terrifying robbery incident where her £8.5m jewellery were stolen and a gun pointed to her head

Reality TV star, Kim Kardashian has finally arrived back in the US on a private jet and reunited with her husband Kanye West after she was robbed by masked men who put a gun to her temple, tied her up and locked her in the bathroom of her luxury Paris residence, and stole her jewelry worth millions of dollars' early Monday.

There were massive security presence at the couple's Manhattan home this afternoon following her arrival back in the US after her security team were criticized for allowing the thieves reach her Paris bedroom. 

The security personnel were also joined by Kim's main bodyguard Pascal Duvier who was not with her at the time of the robbery incident but was with her two sisters Kourtney and Kendall Jenner at a nightclub.  

Pascal had hours before the attack on Kim tweeted that; 'you don't become a bodyguard overnight...it's a job with dedication, responsibility and passion.' 

There were fear that Kim's engagement ring might have been stolen in the raid as she was seen entering the building in New York, without the ring on her finger.

The 35-year-old mother of two was robbed by five armed masked men clothed with police markings. 

The robbers entered the building at around 3:00am after the doorkeeper who was handcuffed at gun point let them in. 

He then led them to Kim's apartment.

According to reports, Kim reportedly 'begged for her life' and told the gunmen that she had children at home after two of the men pointed a gun to her head.

They stole a jewellery box worth $6.7 million and a ring worth $4.5 million.

Two of her smart phones were also stolen and one is likely to contain a great deal of personal information.
