Jay Z 'makes $40 million bid to acquire late Prince's unreleased music'
US rapper Jay Z has reportedly offered a bid of $40M to acquire the rights to late Prince's unreleased music.
The CEO of multi-platform company, Roc Nation CEO, is said to have made the offer to Prince's sister Tyka Nelson and her husband Maurice Phillips to acquire the deal.
According to a report by gossip site TMZ, Jayz flew Prince’s sister Tyka and her husband, to New York City to discuss the deal.
The music in question is said to have been unearthed at Prince's Paisley Park estate following his death in April.
Reports also say that Tyka will have to get sign-off from all of her half siblings before Jay Z can have full right to the music.
