Donald Trump's ‘Puppet’ Comment breaks the internet with funny Twitter memes
Clinton and Trump were in a debate about foreign policy when Clinton went taut Trump's seemingly cosy relationship with Russian president Vladimir Putin.
Hillary said Trump would be Putin’s “puppet,” which Trump interjected multiple times with “No puppet. YOU’RE the puppet!”
“Everything I see, [Putin] has no respect for this person,” Trump said.
“Well, that’s because he’d rather have a puppet as president of the United States,” Clinton fired back.
“No puppet. No Puppet,” said Trump said referring to Clinton.
“It’s pretty clear...,” Clinton continued, as Trump continued to interrupt: “You’re the puppet!”Trump then said he has never even met Putin, and that he “is not my best friend.”
The moment quickly went viral taking Twitter by storm. Americans were quick to make fun of the moment with hilarious memes of puppets to mimic Trump's response, using the phrase: “NO YOU’RE THE PUPPET.”!
