Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie sell their New Orleans Home for $4.9 Million

Former Hollywood couple, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have sold their joint home in New Orleans' French Quarter for $4.9 million.

Documents filed with the Land Records Division of the Orleans Parish Clerk of Court's Office showed that the property had been sold with the sale officially closing Friday, October 28.

Pitt and Jolie who separated in September bought the home in 2007 after Hurricane Katrina for $US3.5 million.

Listing agent Nina Killeen who confirmed the sale of the three-storey, 1830s-era mansion occupying 7,645 square feet, with five bedrooms, three bathrooms and two half-baths to the The Hollywood Reporter;

"It sold for a very fair price. It's a good deal for both parties. They're happy with the outcome."
