Spanish man arrested over child pornography

Spain: A Spanish man has been arrested on Saturday by Spanish police for allegedly producing child pornography after a one year investigation revealed that the suspect posed as a young bisexual girl on social media, contacting minors and tricking them into sending explicit material.

According to police report, the suspect's electronic devices contained around 120,000 pictures, 800 videos and more than 6000 phone numbers of around 103 victims.

Police say all the man's victims were underage girls, mostly between the age of 10 and 14 years old.

The suspect was arrested in his home in Zaragoza, northeast of Madrid.

Police said they were alerted after a woman reported that her underage daughter had sent the suspect intimate photos of herself through via social media in exchange for refilling her mobile phone with funds.

Authorities confirmed that the suspect had a record of similar crimes.
