Shocking moment rescuers lift 320kg man into truck after eating 30 bowls of noodles a day for 10 years

Malaysia: This 33-year-old man weighing 320kg, from Sibu, Malaysia was hauled into a lorry by 20 rescuers because he could no longer move after stuffing on noodles every day for the last 10 years. Sia Chie Herng, overfilled himself with 30 bowls of spicy snacks every day while shambling round his little family home.

According to The SUN, Herng wash the dishes down with dozens of milkshakes and plates of ice-cream.

Just over the weekend, Herng who have two older brothers became immobile and spent four days in bed complaining of chest pains.

Firemen arrived at his home on Tuesday and needed 20 people to help carry him on a large wood board into a 5000kg lorry because an ambulance was too small.
An assistant director of operations at the Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department Farhan Sufyan Borhan said:
”We arrived there an hour after the emergency call and the man was lying down in the living room and unable to move.
”The ambulance was too small and he wouldn’t fit inside. We quickly sent our five-tonne lorry to the scene.
“It took us more than 30 minutes to carry him from the house to the lorry, using a thick cloth and hardwood as support.
”We don’t get many cases where this happens. We just did the best we could but it wasn’t easy lifting such a heavy man.”
The lorry arrived at the hospital at around 1pm on Tuesday.
Herng who is currently recovering as doctors assess him was treated for swelling in his legs.
“Though he is heavy, previously he could move around slowly with the help of a walking frame, his mother said.
“But his health deteriorated during the last three to four days and he needed to be confined to the bed” she added.
Herng's friend Afiq Mayang said:
“Sia is a nice man. He loves watching sport on TV and movies.
“But he has a weakness for food. Some days he would eat 20 or 30 bowls of noodles mixed with meat. Then he eats ice-cream and (drinks) milkshakes.
“Everybody is hoping he gets better quickly.”
