Earthquake rattles Japan's southern island of Okinawa
Japan: A preliminary magnitude of 5.7 earth quake has shook Okinawa and other southern Japanese islands on Monday said Japan

The earth quake in the south came just minutes after another relatively strong tremor hit the north.
A magnitude 5.5 earthquake occurred just off the southern coast of Hokkaido, Japan's northernmost main island.
There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries from the two earthquakes that struck almost simultaneously at both ends of the Japan's archipelago.
