Boko Haram leader, Shekau releases new video, rejects Nigerian military's claim he is wounded
Nigeria: Leader of the Islamic terrorist group Boko
Haram, Abubakar Shekau, has released a new video message posted online on Sunday,
rejecting claim by the Nigerian military that he was seriously
wounded in an airstrike last month.
The Nigerian military on August 23 said that Shekau had been seriously wounded in the shoulder in an air raid carried out by the Nigerian troops in which several of its commanders were also killed.
And since the statement by the military on Shekau, the group later posted a video on You Tube on September 13 without Shekau which bolstered the army's claim.
In the 40-minutes long video released on you Tube on Sunday September 25, Shekau who spoke in Arabic, Hausa and Kanuri languages said;

“Oh tyrants, I’m in a happy state, in good health and in safety.”
