Videos of deadly cop shooting of 18 year old black boy in Chicago show procedural errors, confusion over shots

US: An 18-year-old black boy from Chicago Paul O’Neal has been fatally shot in the back by the police after he was been chased in a stolen car by the police.

From the video footage below,  the teen ran out of the car as he was been chased by the police but the police continued to chase him on foot until he was eventually apprehended and his arms cuffed with blood gushing out from his back.

It apparently seems the police didn’t know he had been shot, and all became confused just when they realized he had been shot asking each other who may have shot the teenager.

Instead of calling for the medics, the cops were seen in the videos on their body camera trying to figure out who shot the boy among them.
One of the officers was worried he would be on desk duty for the next 30 days.

The videos from the fatal shooting of Paul O’Neal by Chicago police show a series of obvious procedural errors, including police shooting at a fleeing vehicle with other officers in harm’s way.

In a video released by the Police on August 5th, one of the police officer who thought that he shot the 18 year old was heard saying that he had no idea if the teenager was armed as comments from the officer caught on video showed that he may have in error thought O’Neal had fired from a stolen car barreling in his direction.

The shots were infact fired in the officer’s direction by another police officer shooting at the stolen car which in apparent violation of departmental policy. Click here to watch the full video.
