Entertainment: MTV helds its award night on Sunday August 28 at New York's Madison Square Garden where it handed out its Video Music Awards. Beyonce who was the most nominated artist with 11 nominations topped the winners chart with a total of seven awards, surpassing Madonna's VMA record wins. See winners below
