'I don't think she's all there': Donald Trump questions Hillary Clinton's mental state to be US president

US: Republican presidential candidate, Donald Trump on Saturday questioned the Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton's fitness to be president of the US saying "she's got problems" and that Americans "don't want someone who's going to short-circuit."

Speaking to crowd of supporters during a rally in a steamy gymnasium, Trump said he's not sure Hillary Clinton is up to the job.

"She short circuited, she used the term 'short-circuited.' She took a little short circuit in the brain," Trump said.

 "And she's got problems, I mean, if we had real people, this would be a real problem for her, but I think that the people of this country don't want somebody that's going to short circuit up here." 

"Honestly, I don't think she's all there," Trump said.

Recall Clinton had last week said that she "may have short-circuited" when she claimed that FBI Director James Comey said;

"my answers were truthful and what I've said is consistent with what I have told the American people"

 about her use of a private email server during her time in the State Department. 

Clinton's statement had drew criticism from Trump, who on Saturday tweeted;

"Anybody whose mind 'SHORT CIRCUITS' is not fit to be our president! Look up the word 'BRAINWASHED.'"

Trump also said that Islamic State ISIS militants were watching the US election closely and "salivating" at the possibility of  Clinton returning to the White House.

"Remember, ISIS is looking, folks. They dream of Hillary Clinton," he said.

Speaking in response to Trump's claims, the Clinton campaign issued a statement saying,

"It's unfortunate that Trump's only method of dealing with his own disastrous week is to lash out with more absurd personal attacks."
