Football Paper Round: Wenger feels the heat as Vieira slams Arsenal's 'lack of personality'

Wenger's approach is wrong, says Vieira
Patrick Vieira believes Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has made a big mistake not involving his former players in the coaching set-up at the Emirates - reports The Sun. Vieira, who currently manages New York City, believes that the Gunners could benefit massively from assistance from former players like himself, Thierry Henry and Mikel Arteta. And the former France midfielder has also been highly critical of the current Arsenal crop, saying they lack the mental strength of his 'invincible' generation.

Everton eye up England's No. 1
Joe Hart could be heading for Goodison Park as his Manchester City career slides towards a disappointing end - according to The Telegraph. Hart is now City's back-up keeper and Everton are ready to table a bid to give him regular first-team action again. But the stopper may prefer to move on loan and keep alive his chances of a future return to Guardiola's starting XI.

Wenger confirms interest in Mustafi
Arsene Wenger is hopeful of sealing a deal for Valencia defender Mustafi before the end of the transfer window - reports the Daily Mail. "Mustafi? We hope it will be done. He is one of a number of players we are looking at," Wenger told French television over the weekend. "We are struggling to find the players we need, but we must be responsible."
