Everton give Swansea improved offer for Ashley Williams
Swansea agree to terms with Sevilla for Fernando Llorente
Arsenal are in the market for Valencia's Skhodran Mustafi and
West Brom's Jonny Evans. The report in the Daily Mail says that Arsenal
will have a battle with Chelsea
on their hands to bring Mustafi to the club, as his reported £41
million buy-out clause won't be enforced and can be purchased for
around
£25 million. While inquires have been made with Valencia, Arsenal have
not begun the formal process for signing Jonny Evans despite having
interest in the West Brom defender.
Islam Slimani targeted by Everton and Southampton
Sporting Lisbon's
Islam Slimani is hot property, according to the Sun. The report says
Sporting has received an unnamed bid of £16.75 million from an English
club, as Slimani has reportedly handed in a transfer request. The
forward, who scored 31 goals last season, has a range of suitors
including Everton and Southampton. Reports have also linked Slimani to a
move to either Italy or China, as his exit from Sporting appears to be
imminent.
Everton will offer Swansea an improved offer for captain Ashley
Williams, according to the Daily Mail. The report says that the centre
back is keen to discuss terms with Everton, as their first bid of £10
million was rejected by Swansea earlier in the week. The 31-year-old is
expected to have a secondary bid of £12 million tabled in the short
term, as Everton seek to bolster their defence heading into the season.
Swansea are said to agree to a deal with Sevilla for striker
Fernando Llorente, according to the Guardian. The report says that the
31-year-old will undergo a medical at the Welsh club on Friday, as the
striker is set be offered a two year deal. No transfer fee has been
announced for the player at this stage, as Sevilla have been motivated
to move the player on quickly after his performances have not matched
his high wage earning status.
