Football Liverpool striker Christian Benteke tracked by 'several teams' - agent

Hammers are kin on Martin Odegaard?
West Ham are keen to bring Norwegian teenager Martin Odegaard to east London from Real Madrid on loan, according to the Sun. The powers that be at the Santiago Bernabeu want the 17-year-old to go out on a temporary deal in order to gain first-team experience. That has attracted the attention of plenty of clubs -- but the Hammers are the most prepared to make a move soon, the report says.

Although Liverpool are also interested, the Sun believes West Ham are "the most likely destination for Odegaard" after Manuel Lanzini was ruled out for up to five weeks with a knee problem.
It says the prospect of Odegaard moving to Anfield is less likely because "the Reds are unwilling to pay his £80,000-a-week deal, with Real keen to ship him out on a two-year deal without the option to buy at the end of it."

Everton to offer Lukaku new deal
Everton wants to  keep striker Romelu Lukaku and will open negotiations with agent Mino Raiola in an attempt to persuade him to stay at Goodison Park, the Express reports.
One of the most enduring transfer sagas of the summer has seen former Chelsea striker Lukaku repeatedly linked with a return to Stamford Bridge, but Everton are refusing to budge from their stance that he cannot leave for anything less than their £75 million valuation.
With Chelsea reportedly unwilling to pay that price, Everton have decided that it's time to talk to their star player.
The Belgium international has three years remaining on his current contract, but Everton are poised to offer new terms and improved pay, the Express says.

Player exchange to tempt Toffees?
The Lukaku saga continues in more ways than one, the Express adds, explaining that Chelsea are hopeful that they can smooth the path to a transfer by offering a couple of players as part of a deal.
Who might those players be? Goalkeeper Asmir Begovic and striker Loic Remy, both of whom would fit neatly into Everton's desire to sign another goalkeeper and their need for a new striker should you know who depart.
With Chelsea having reportedly warned Everton that it's a case of "now or never" when their next bid for Lukaku comes in -- there won't be another one if it is turned down -- they now seem likely to give the Toffees something else to think about.
The Merseysiders paid £28m to bring Lukaku in from London two years ago, and he scored 25 goals last season despite a frustrating campaign at Goodison Park.
And although Chelsea had a £57m offer rejected earlier this summer, they believe offering Begovic and Remy as part of another bid could finally push a transfer through. Yes, finally.

Here's Look-ing at you, kid
Life at Charlton has been nothing if not turbulent in recent times, with protests against the club's ownership providing the backdrop to what was a thoroughly miserable relegation from the Championship last season.
There could be more bad news on the way for unhappy Addicks -- highly-rated England under-19 striker Ademola Lookman is firmly in the sights of Liverpool, Arsenal, Tottenham and Southampton, the Daily Mirror reports.
The Premier League quartet sent scouts to watch the 18-year-old at the European Under-19 Championship last month.
Although Lookman signed a long-term deal at The Valley earlier this year, the four clubs are willing to stump up around £2m to bring him in before the end of the month.

Other news
- Life in the Championship didn't get off to the sort of start that Rafa Benitez and Newcastle United would have hoped for when they lost 1-0 at Fulham on Friday, and the Magpies boss is already targeting defensive reinforcements, according to the Sun.
The former Liverpool boss wants to secure a loan deal for Everton left-back Brendan Galloway and hopes the 20-year-old can be persuaded to move to St James' Park for the season.
Although Everton are reported to be interested in Newcastle midfielder Moussa Sissoko, "he is not part of the negotiations," the report says.

- And, speaking of the Championship, Queens Park Rangers began the season in style with a 3-0 win over Leeds, but manager Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink remains keen to add a bit more firepower as he plans ta concerted promotion challenge.
"We are still looking for that striker," he told reporters after the match. "Hopefully we will bring some more players in, because we need that help and we need that competition."
