Real Madrid to offer €65m for David Alaba
Spanish newspaper AS is reporting that Real Madrid are planning a third bid for Bayern Munich star David Alaba. It is claimed Los Blancos will make an offer of €65 million for the Austria international, although AS says Bayern are after that fee as well as centre-back Pepe.


Bayern coach Carlo Ancelotti is said to be keen to keep Alaba at the Allianz Arena. In June, Alaba's father said he was "proud" that Real continue to be linked with his son.

Paul Pogba edging closer to Manchester United return
The summer's longest saga may have finally found a conclusion.
Manchester United's pursuit of Paul Pogba has finally ended in success, with the Daily Record reporting that Juventus have agreed to a £110 million deal.
The sticking point over the past few weeks appears to have been over which club would pay the 30 percent sell-on clause owed to Pogba's agent, Mino Raiola.
Jose Mourinho's side -- according to the paper -- have finally relinquished and agreed to pay Raiola £25.1m on top of a £83.8m payment to the Bianconeri.

Chelsea bid for Brazilian Pirlo
Chelsea are weighing up a £15 million bid for Santos maestro Thiago Maia, who has been compared to Andrea Pirlo.
The Blues will track his progress while starring for Brazil in the Olympics but the Mirror says they have triggered talks with his agent Kia Joorabchian -- who has had previous dealings with Chelsea before.
Having spent two season at the base of O Peixe's midfield, the 19-year-old could now be enticed to move to London.

Mauricio Pochettino is ready to bring Braga's midfielder Rafa Silva to White Hart Lane in a £10 million move.
The Portugal star is also attracting interest from Zenit and Porto but the Mirror says he has been on Spurs' radar since last season.
Silva struck eight times and added two assists last season as Braga finished fourth.
