Courtney Stodden shaves hair, marks new begining of her life after heartbreaking miscarriage

Celebrities: 21-year-old reality TV star Courtney Stodden originally from Tacoma Wash who recently suffered a devastating miscarriage during her first pregnancy two weeks ago has shaved her platinum blond locks to memorialize the loss as she finds way to cope with the trauma.


Stodden who had been expecting her first child with husband Doug Hutchinson, 56, took to Instagram over the weekend to share the reason she made the decision to shave her head as a symbol of moving forward to a “new chapter” in her life.

“Hi everyone. “I feel free,” As you all know, I recently suffered a miscarriage and it’s had a huge impact on me emotionally,” she said in a video. 

“I’ve been thinking and I have decided that I want to give back to my angel with a symbolic gesture, and that to me is shaving my hair off. I want to step into this new chapter in my life fresh and with a new … so I wanted to share it with you because you’re a huge support system to me and I love all of you so much.”
