6.0 Magnitude earthquake hits off east coast of Japan
Japan: An earthquake with a
magnitude of 6.0 has struck off the east coast of Japan early Sunday
morning, the US Geological Survey reports. The quake's epicentre was
offshore, 192km
east of Hachinohe, Honshu island at a depth of 10km. According to the
the Pacific Tsunami Warning Centre, there was no tsunami warning in
effect.
