21 killed in China power plant blast

China: At least 21 people have been killed and five others wounded after an explosion erupted at a power plant in Dangyang, in the central province of Hubei, central China on Thursday state media reports, one of the deadliest industrial accident in the country as it struggles with poor safety standards.
The blast occurred when a high-pressure steam pipe exploded, said the official Xinhua news agency.

"The injured have been rushed to hospital," it said, adding that authorities had launched a rescue effort, but did not immediately mention the cause of the blast.
