Shocking!!! Pakistani social media star killed by her brother

Pakistan: Pakistani social media star Qandeel Baloch, was allegedly strangled to death by her brother in what appears to be an ''honour killing'' said police and her family. 

Baloch's social media exploits, where she questions Pakistan social norms has divided opinion in the conservative country, a deeply traditional Muslim country where women are often oppressed by their family or community.

Baloch whose death has shocked the country had frequently received multiple death threats and suffered frequent misogynist abuse from the public but continued posting provocative photos and videos.
In her one of her Facebook posts, she talked about trying to change "the typical orthodox mindset" of people in Pakistan.

Her father Muhammad Azeem told the police that his son Waseem had strangled her.
According to Punjab Police spokeswoman Nabeela Ghazanfar, Baloch was killed on Friday night in her family home on the outskirts of Multan, Punjab province.
Ghazanfar said.

"Apparently, it is an honour killing but further investigations will reveal the real motives behind this murder,"

Police said they were looking for Waseem, who had since disappeared.

Balcoh had told local media she was concerned about her safety days before her death.
