Several Nigerian celebrities including Peter Okoye, Osita Iheme, AY, Okocha, Kanu and many more caught up in Turkey coup

Nigeria: Some Nigerian celebrities were caught up in the unrest in Turkey during the failed military coup in Ankara two days ago. Celebrities including, Peter Okoye, Kanu Nwankwo, Ronaldo, Emmanuel Adebayor, Jay Jay Okocha, AY, Osita Iheme and many more were all in Turkey during the weekend to mark Cameroon's Samuel Eto'o's foundation 10 years anniversary.

Peter Okoye was to perform at the 10^th anniversary of international footballer Samuel Eto’o’s foundation in Antalya, Turkey.

The event was also to witness a charity match that was to feature many international football stars including the likes of Samuel Eto’o, Lionel Messi, Drogba Kanu Nwankwo, Ronaldo, Emmanuel Adebayor, Jay Jay Okocha among others.

Also comedian AY and Nollywood actor Osita Iheme were on ground for the event.

The charity match was later cancelled due to security reasons; Peter and Papi J still went on to entertained guests at the charity dinner which was held on Friday, July 15.
