Ryan Giggs ‘to leave Man United after 29 years’
The Welshman, who still had a year remaining on his contract at Old Trafford, worked as an assistant manager to David Moyes, where he briefly acted as caretaker manager at the of 2013-14 season after David Moyes was sacked and Louis van Gaal who was sacked in May 2016 after spending two years at the club.
Giggs, who joined the Manchester United academy at 14, made his professional debut when he was 17 years old and went on to score 168 goals in a record 963 appearances winning 13 Premier League titles, two Champions Leagues, four FA Cups and three League Cups during that period.
Giggs is expected to pursue his managerial ambition elsewhere.
