Everton increase Romelu Lukaku's price tag
Arsenal 'angry' after Man City target Bellerin
Liverpool set to sign Georginio Wijnaldum
Stoke's Van Persie loan move rejected
Everton have upped Romelu Lukaku's asking price in a bid to ward off Chelsea,
according to the Daily Mail. The report says that Everton have
purposefully changed the asking price from £65 million to £75 million,
in an effort to hold on the Belgian international.
After Chelsea's £63
million bid for Real Madrid's Alvaro Morata
failed, they've turned their attention to their former player. Everton
however are keen to keep Lukaku, and remain convinced they can make the
player stay.
Arsenal are reportedly 'fuming' at Manchester City for targeting right-back Hector
Bellerin, according to the Mirror. The report says that Arsenal are
unhappy that City have made overtures to the full-back, as their
approach has unsettled the defender as Arsenal were trying to lock him down with a long-term deal. The defender was set to be rewarded with a
contract, but Manchester City's interest has scuttled negotiations
between the Spaniard and the club. Arsenal have also gone as far as
contacting City's football department to make a complaint about the
attempts to sign Bellerin.
Liverpool are set to seal a move for Liverpool's Georginio
Wijnaldum, according to the Mirror. The fee for Wijnaldum is currently
at £23 million, and could go as high as £25 million with add-on's and
performance clauses. The deal is subject to a medical which is set to
occur today at Liverpool, where then Wijnaldum is likely to join up with
his new teammates in the United States for their pre-season tour.
Stoke's attempts at trying to sign Robin Van Persie
on a season long loan have been rejected, according to ESPNFC. The 32
year old has been linked to numerous Premier League clubs after a strong
stint with Fenerbahce, with the Dutchman keen to head back to England. Middlesbrough have also tried their hand at trying to sign Van Persie, but Fenerbahce are holding firm on any moves at the moment.
