Off-duty Swedish police officer in bikini arrests thief

Sweden: A photo of a Swedish police officer Mikaela Kellner rounding up a suspected thief on Wednesday while wearing only a bikini as she was off duty has been trending on social media.
Kellner is seen in the photo pinning the suspect to the ground.
Kellner who shared the moment on her Instagram page wrote;

“My first intervention while wearing a bikini during my 11 years as a police officer.”

In an interview with Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet, Ms Kellner who along with three of her friends were sunbaking in a Stockholm park said a homeless man selling newspapers had approached them but after he left, one of her friend noticed her phone was missing. Ms Kellner and a fellow police officer then chase the man adding that she didn’t hesitate to arrest the man while wearing a bikini.

“If I had been naked I would have intervened as well,” she said.
