Niger Delta Avengers blow up oil installations belonging to Chevron, NPDC
Nigeria: The Niger Delta Avenger on Monday night blew up two oil installations belonging to Chevron Nigeria Limited and
Nigerian Petroleum Development Company, NPDC.
The attacks comes just a a day after its Tweeter account and blog site were suspended.
The militant group blew up two manifolds operated by the Nigerian Petroleum Development Company at Batan Community in Warri South West Council Area of Delta State.
The group also destroyed two other trunk lines belonging to the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation in the area.
An oil well identified as ''well 10'' operated by Chevron Nigeria Limited at Makaraba village of Gbaramatu Kingdom was also attacked on Monday night.
According to sources, the attacks were carried out at about 10:35pm and 11:20pm.
The attacks were confirmed by military and community sources.
