Man who shot 12 police officers at Black Lives Matter protest identified

 
US: The police has identified the man behind the killing of five police officers, at an all Black Lives Matter protest in downtown Dallas on Thursday night as Micah Xavier Johnson, 25 from Mesquite, Texas who was an army reservist with no criminal records or link with any terror groups.

Before he was killed, Johnson,told authorities that he was a veteran, and acted alone.
Dallas police Chief, David Brown said, 
Johnson said he was upset about the recent police shootings of black men. He said he was upset at white people adding that he wanted to kill white people, especially white officers.
The police corned Johnson at El Centro College at about 11pm on Thursday and tried to negotiate with him, after four hours of failed negotiations, a robot was brought in to detonate a bomb that killed the suspect.
Johnson wore a body armor and also carried an SKS semi automatic assault riffle and a hand gun with several rounds of ammunition said the police

Her sister Nicole Johnson shared a post on Facebook after John's name was released asking for 'respect for my family'
