Live feeds of the Nigerian Air Force bombarding Boko Haram terrorists in Sambisa forest


Nigeria: Footage has emerged of the Nigerian Air Force NAF bombarding Boko Haram terrorist with 2 x F-7Ni fighter jet in Sambisa forest Borno State Nigeria on Thursday as the NAF intensifies its air operations against the insurgents. See video below

The Air Component of OPERATION LAFIYA DOLE recorded another major success in its fight to wipe out the deadly Islamist terror group.
 

The location of the air strikes lies between Tumbum Rego and Malkonory which is about 25km from Kangarwa where the NAF ground forces are currently harboured.
 

From the video footage, the location of the air strikes harbours Boko haram makeshift structures which included about 4-6 group of solar panels which are used by the terrorists to power communications equipment and for lighting.

The latest air strike is part of the air operations carried out by the Nigerian Air Force in support of the efforts by own ground forces and the Multi National Joint Task Force to rid the country of the Boko Haram terrorist in an operation tagged “OPERATION GAMA AIKI”.


Prior to the air strike on Thursday, the location had been under surveillance for sometimes and was reported active by a NAF Beechcraft aircraft on Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) mission. 

Following that, the Fighter aircraft were immediately scrambled for interdiction.
