Juventus has completed the signing of Gonzalo Higuain from Napoli for €90 million
Football: Italian club Juventus has completed the signing of Argentine striker Gonzalo Higuain from Napoli for a fee of €90 million on a five-year-deal on
Tuesday making him the most expensive player ever in Italian football and the third most expensive player in history behind Real Madrid's Gareth Bale and
Cristiano Ronaldo.
The former Real Madrid forward broke Gunnar Nordahl's 66-year-old Serie A goal-scoring record on the final day of last season when he scored a hat trick to take his goal tally for the season to 36 in 35 games.
Juventus director Beppe Marotta confirmed earlier on Tuesday that he had completed the registration of the Argentine forward in person, taking all the required documents to Lega Serie A headquarters in Milan to seal the deal.
