The twin sisters knew they were pregnant last year around the same time
and made it known to each other during a Thanksgiving get-together.

The new mom and sisters said they're excited by the coincidence.
Leah Rogers when speaking with the People, said;
"We've always lived in separate places, but all of us — we have two sisters — are very close in age and very close," "But certainly there's another connection at the twin level."
Rodgers an education strategist for Dell, said as soon as she saw her sister, she already knew.
"I wanted it to be a surprise, but when she showed up at the door – it was the funniest thing – I opened the door, welcomed her into the home, but as soon as I saw her, I knew she was pregnant too,"
"And I had this crazy twin intuition — I call it my 'twintuition' "I can't explain it, I just knew. My prediction was that she was five days behind me, and it turned out her due date was four days after me."
"I was like 'Oh my gosh, shut up!" "We stood there and giggled and our family was in complete shock. It's just one of those things that's totally possible, but when it's confirmed, it's so crazy."
Mariuz didn't let the news out right away, instead she allowed her sister, go first.
"I wanted Leah to have her moment of sharing her news, rather than me just saying, 'Me too!'"
"It's that magical twin connection I suppose," "There have just been certain things in our life where things just match up – it's odd."
She
adds,
"We didn't plan being pregnant at the same time. But our journeys aligned, even giving birth! Twins have a special bond, it's hard to explain."
The
twin sisters also celebrated their pregnancy months together and even had a joint baby
shower together.
"It's a really cool thing to be able to share," "The adventure will only continue as our babies share the same birthday like we did! We can't wait for them to grow up together." Rodgers said.
Rodgers revealed that her family started a group chat when the two women went into labor about the same time.
"When my sister's husband got the text about Reed being born at 1:18 a.m. he apparently shouted at the doctors, he couldn't believe it!" Rodgers says with a laugh. "It was literally the exact same time."
"It's just really special," said Mariuz.
The twin sisters haven't met yet, but said they can't wait to bring their kids together as they both plan a Christmas family reunion together.
"I'm sure they will have a deep bond because of their birthday timing," says Mariuz.
